Jackie Smith, a Registered Nurse, founded Caci. Jackie is keen to bring balance, simplicity and accessibility to the appearance industry. “Where once I thought that women’s quest for beauty was perhaps a little superficial, over the years I have come to understand that the need to look attractive is a fundamental need that is found across all cultures. Confidence about appearance has a knock-on effect on the rest of our lives. At Caci we believe that every woman has the right to feel confident about her looks”
Jackie has spear-headed the introduction of Cosmetic Nurses Specialists to the cosmetic industry. She is an ardent advocate of the concept of collaborative, multidisciplinary delivery of health care. With the Caci model we have been able to demonstrate that nurses, doctors, and business professionals, working as a team are able to increase the accessibility of some treatments to the general public at the same time as maintaining or increasing standards.
