As part of The Confidence Project we identify projects in our community that help women, I Got Your Backpack is exactly that.
Their mission is to support Women's Refuge and help women and children in immediate crisis by giving them a backpack filled with practical and essential items to help them through these times of extreme distress.
Over 1,000 skincare and makeup products were donated, including a mix of everyday essentials to help women feel more comfortable during this time of upheaval and change. “It’s extremely important for us to support women, and although makeup and skincare might seem trivial to some – it can provide the basics and practical daily essentials during a traumatic and stressful time” explains Glenice Riley, FAB Group COO.
The donations will go towards helping women and children in times of need. It’s an incredibly empowering charity and we’re really proud to be able to support in this way.
