FAB Group Board

Franceska Banga: Chair 
Franceska Banga recently stepped down as the chief executive of the NZ Venture Investment Fund, which she has led since its inception in 2001. She oversaw investments into over 200 start-up companies alongside 11 venture capital funds and 15 angel groups.  Currently, she chairs two high growth NZ companies, Frogparking and Fab Group, and is also a director of Auckland Tourism, Events and Economic Development, Continuity Capital and Constellation Capital. She is also active in the not for profit sector and is a trustee of the Fred Hollows Foundation NZ, and The Icehouse Foundation, and is a member of Global Women. She is a strong advocate for helping women achieve personal and career goals. With an honours degree in economics and finance, she previously worked for the New Zealand Treasury, and the Reserve Bank of New Zealand.  She received an ONZM for her services to business and the community in the recent Queen’s Birthday honours.    

Jackie Smith: Director
A Registered Nurse and co-founder of FAB Group, Jackie has been responsible for the clinical and operational aspects of the business since its inception in 1994. Her prior international business experience in the service sector has led to the relentless focus on service that Caci and Fab have today. Jackie believes in the benefits of education and brings that passion for learning to the office every day. Her knowledge of the appearance enhancement industry is unparalleled, and that along with her experience in franchising makes her a formidable and knowledgeable executive director. Jackie was also recently selected as a Finalist in EY Entrepreneur of the Year 2016. 

Glenice Riley: Managing Director
Glenice has a varied background in franchising, medicine and beauty therapy. She has extensive medical experience as an occupational therapist plus eight years tutoring at the Joyce Blok Institute. One of her biggest passions is franchising and business support. Seeing people grow and achieve is what really pushes her buttons. Glenice has over 20 years’ experience in the franchising, she has owned and managed multiple franchises. As Managing Director Glenice is responsible for supporting the team to execute FAB Group’s strategic plan.

Amy Cushing: General Manager Caci
Amy is an accomplished National Sales and Marketing Director with extensive experience in developing and executing marketing plans for retail stores, building strategies to increase sales in SMEs and developing new channels for business. Her specialty is relationship building, leveraging brand alignment and business to business opportunities. With over 8 years successful history in high pressure competitive markets she is used to working with international brands and driving sales through retail.

Kate Allen: Clinical Director
Kate is a Registered Nurse with a broad range of public and private nursing experience. She has completed postgraduate studies in Nursing and Business and Administration. Her role involves training Caci Registered Nurses in introductory through to advanced cosmetic treatments and supporting them remotely in their clinical practice. She contributes to Caci Registered Nurses policy and procedure development, and works closely with the Medical Advisory Board.


Hilary Metzger: Franchise Development Manager
Before starting with Caci in 2002 Hilary had over 20 years’ experience as a Registered Nurse. In the last 14 years she has had many roles at Caci including Registered Nurse, Treatment Provider, Manager, National Trainer, Treatment Coordinator and has even owned a successful clinic. Hilary has a great understanding of the day to day running of a clinic as well as extensive knowledge and experience of what it takes to be successful. With her belief in the Caci model Hilary is excited to encourage new owners to start their Caci journey.

Linda Sharrem: Caci Product Trainer
After 20 years a hairdresser Linda wanted a change, and completed a Beauty Therapy Degree. Linda’s role at FAB Group is to educate clients and franchises on the Murad skincare range, and help franchises run successful events. She believes that with simple regime, everyone can look fresh and amazing. The most enjoyable part of her job is making a difference to people’s lives. “I understand how bad skin can affect one’s confidence, this is where I feel I can make a difference."

Heather Thompson-Barker: National Caci Trainer 
Heather has extensive beauty industry knowledge gained through an illustrious career spanning over 16 years. Having gained her Beauty Therapy Qualification in her native Scotland's most prestigious International Beauty School as well as acquiring a Teaching Qualification . Heather has been able to add a vast array of skills having worked as a Business Development Manager across Scotland before successfully running her own business for 7 years. Since arriving in New Zealand Heather was trainer and manager of New Zealand's largest day spa winning various internal and international accolades for outstanding performance. Most recently Heather has concentrated on her true passion of training and development since becoming National Trainer for Caci. 

Fran Caliari-Pearce: Business Operations Manager
Fran has worked in the beauty industry for over 11 years, with the majority of her time with Caci. Fran is responsible for clinic operations and business management support for our Caci franchisees and is involved in providing initial training for new franchisees including providing the support they need in their first 12 months.

Brandy: National Caci Clinical Nurse Educator
Brandy’s eye for detail when it comes to facial assessment and her passion for Caci and the beauty industry has put her in good stead for the Caci National Trainer role.  She is responsible for conducting all Registered Nurse Trainings, supporting Clinics with adverse events and providing ongoing professional development, leadership, empowerment and direction to all Caci Nurses.      

Sonya Hatangadi: Training Academy Manager
Sonya is passionate about people and making a meaningful difference.
She started her career as a Registered Nurse, later transitioning into the commercial side of medicine where she built a robust foundation of skills, and  gained over 20 years of sales and business development experience. She has drawn on a vast array of skills with her various roles at FAB Group and Caci, and is committed to developing people, education, and building high performing teams. Sonya believes that engagement and education translates into optimal client outcomes and satisfaction for the continued growth of our clinics.
Sonya’s current role as Training Academy Manager allows her and her team of trainers to successfully support, train and develop Caci treatment providers. 

Tania Deichert: Regional Sales Manager
Following 11 years in Account Management and Senior Sales Management, Tania joined the Caci family as a Treatment Coordinator, working in one of our highest volume clinics based in Wellington. There, she was able to utilise her experience and develop her skills further. She gained a real passion for the beauty and appearance industry, and enjoyed being part of a fantastic brand that focuses on results and meeting clients expectations. She enjoyed four and a half years in this role before joining the FAB Team as the Regional Sales Manager for Region Two (south of Cambridge to Queenstown). It is her goal to assist our Caci clinic franchisees in developing a positive workplace culture that is conducive with business growth and staff synergy.
Lisa Carter: Regional Sales Manager
Over the last 15 years Lisa has been a Sales and Business Manager in a number of growing New Zealand businesses. She’s also owned her own businesses, including a couple of franchises (outside of Caci). Her role as Regional Sales Manager is to support and empower Caci business owners and staff to achieve revenue targets and to help establish an environment and foundation for future sales growth.

Fleur Evans: Business Operations Specialist 
Fleur brings over 12 years experience in the beauty industry. Her journey has taken her from a qualified Beauty Therapist to General Manager of New Zealand’s largest Day Spa Group. Her experience includes identifying, recruiting and developing a pool of talent both locally and internationally, coaching and driving performance, spa management and implementing sales strategies to enhance growth. She looks forward to sharing her knowledge and providing insight into an industry that is undeniably rewarding.

Dale Irving: Technical Service Engineer
Dale has worked in the mechanical industry since 2007. He has valuable experience in the implementation of effective support systems and problem solving approaches. He has a passion for understanding and learning about new technology. His past experience means that he is customer focused and has a clear understanding of the importance of minimising equipment downtime.
Emily Stevenson: Marketing & Communications Manager
Emily has 10 years’ experience working in marketing in New Zealand. Prior to FAB Group she worked in the education sector and was responsible for the marketing and communications at Retail Institute. At FAB Group Emily oversees the marketing team and the national marketing strategies. She is a creative person who is also very analytical. Emily is passionate about collaboration and having strong systems and processes to guide business.
Chelsea Cresswell: Marketing Communications Executive
After graduating with a Bachelor of Sports Marketing, Chelsea pursued a marketing career in the sports industry before moving to Sony NZ, where she was responsible for coordinating local marketing communications. Chelsea joins the FAB Group team bringing over seven years marketing experience. She has a passion for creative marketing solutions. Chelsea is responsible for the marketing communications at FAB Group. She is the point of contact for internal and external communications, including newsletters, social media, print and media.
Melissa Bailey: Marketing Account Manager
Melissa holds a Bachelor of Business with a Marketing major and design credits. Melissa is the first point of contact for marketing enquiries from franchisees, and assists in the development of marketing campaigns, clinic collateral and press advertising. She enjoys seeing what fresh ideas, hard work and clever planning can achieve. She enjoys working with franchisees that get behind their business and undertake local marketing.

Jess Brears: Digital Content Specialist
Jess holds a Bachelor of Communications, with a journalism major and public relations minor. She works across all brands, coordinating our social media communication, product calendars and ecommerce, along with writing content for our newsletters. Jess is also responsible for website maintenance, digital advertising, and supports design work. She is experienced and passionate about the beauty industry, and has worked in public relations for hair product companies, as a freelance beauty and health writer, and also a makeup artist.

Sophie Lee: Finance Manager 
Sophie is a member of CPA Australia (Certified Practising Accountant). She has an excellent knowledge of Finance and Accounting procedures and is equipped with exceptional analytical and problem solving skills. Sophie is responsible for supervising the Finance team preparing Financial and Management Reports, Budgets, Cashflow and Tax requirements. Sophie has over 5 years accounting experience in New Zealand and Hong Kong in multinational companies. Graduated from the University of Auckland, Sophie has a Bachelor of Commerce conjoint Science degree majoring in Accounting and Statistics

Vincent James:Assistant Accountant
Vincent is an Associate member of CPA Australia (Certified Practising Accountant). Vincent is responsible for Efficiency reporting, Franchise Benchmarking, Insurance, Credit Control & Assistance with the Month-end Reporting.

Wendy Cain: Accounts Assistant
Wendy is an incredibly experienced accounts clerk and has been with FAB Group for over six years. Prior to this she worked for Fuji Xerox for nine years in Accounts Receivable/Payable. Wendy is responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable, and royalty invoicing.

Gretchen Molloy: MSL Accounts and Customer Services Coordinator
Gretchen has returned back to NZ after living abroad for the last  7 years her background  experience consists of 6 years working as a 2ic for one of Australia’s largest  Health Care company. Gretchen is part of the MSL team which is the Direct debit provider for Caci , Gretchen is responsible for all client enquiries and direct debit processing  whilst working  closely with the Caci clinic and their clients to provide an excellent service.


Sherwin Ighani: MSL Accounts and Customer Services Coordinator
Sherwin came from a service delivery background where he spent the last 3 years as a service delivery manager for an IT company. The majority of Sherwin's career has been in the IT support industry but also hospitality management. His role at FAB Group is MSL Administrator where he looks after programme payments from Caci clients.

Lisa Tuhega: Customer Service Administrator 
Lisa is the first point of contact for general queries or information required regarding orders and product. She is also responsible for entering manual orders and general reception duties. Lisa is passionate about customer service and makes it her priority to ensure all queries are answered promptly and to their best ability. 

Kerri Ross: General Manager Product
Kerri is an accomplished Business Manager with extensive experience in procurement, distribution, category management, sales and retail management. Alongside her understanding of product supply, sales and retail management, her specialties are relationship building, identifying market trends and matching business capability to those trends, as well as supporting SME businesses and their teams to achieve growth. With over 10 years of experience successfully contributing to business growth, Kerri’s focus is expanding the FAB Group product offering.

Nadia Henry: Smashbox Brand Manager
Previously, Nadia worked as Senior Make Up Artist for TVNZ freelance team, and for brands including Estee Lauder, Chanel, and Clarins. As Christian Dior Training Manager, she had the highest Mystery Shopper elevation in Asia Pacific 2 years running. Nadia has been at FAB Group for 5 years. During this time she has pushed Smashbox to become the number one colour brand in Life Pharmacy’s. Nadia brings with her a wealth of knowledge to her role at FAB Group. Nadia has passion for makeup and coaching staff so they can reach their full potential.

Rachel Forbes: Product Account Manager

Maddie Smith: Product Co-ordinator​
Maddie has worked in Caci and Fabgroup on and off for the last 7 years in different roles, giving her a great understanding of many aspects of the business. Maddie has always had a passion for our industry and been a lover of all things skin. Now she is working as the Product Co-ordinator, co-ordinating the development and manufacture of our own skin care line, Ki, as well as other projects to grow the product division.

Wendy Clarkson: Warehouse Team Leader
Wendy has a wealth of warehouse, distribution and logistics knowledge and experience, having worked in warehousing for 20 years. She has worked for a number of companies and she comes to us from Seedling NZ, but has also had experience in the beauty industry during her time with MOR Cosmetics. Wendy manages the day to day running of the FAB warehouse and it's team ensuring a timely and efficient turnaround of product.

Christiana Matenga: Warehouse Assistant
Christiana is the Warehouse Assistant at FAB Group. She is responsible for picking, packing, dispatching and processing orders. She also ensures stock quality is maintained and assists the Logistics Manager. Christiana has also worked abroad, prior to FAB Group she worked on reception in an administrative role for a high school in Rarotonga. Christiana is passionate about the products we distribute. She strives to ensure every order is accurate and delivery occurs in a timely manner.


Mark McElroy: IS Manager
Mark has over 25 years' experience working with information technology. He managed the IS function at Cavalier Corporation, with responsibilities spanning the information processing needs in both New Zealand and overseas. Mark manages the FAB Group IS team, responsible for the development of franchise business applications and reports, day to day system operations, and providing timely support and training materials to system users.

Michelle Pollard :IS Support Co-ordinator
Michelle has over 10 years of experience customer services, specialising in remote IS support roles and training.  She has worked in Market Research, ISP helpdesk support and more recently as a Maths Teacher.  As the IS Support Co-ordinator, Michelle should be your first point of contact for any issues you may have with your computer and their systems.  She loves solving problems and seeing how much it can help your business when she can find a solution to those pain points.
Gary Bilski: Systems Administrator
Gary is responsible for keeping the IT infrastructure up and running. Gary is always at the end of the line to assist franchisees with any internal technical support. He also sets up new franchisees with required hardware and software
